"Students remain with their homeroom class for all four years of high school. This is an opportunity for teachers and students to assess the progress in their classes and make informed decisions about where to attend Knight Time. This is also used to discuss current events, participate in ice-breaker/team-building activities, and attend grade level events. Building a relationship with your homeroom teacher is a key to your success in high school. In addition to this relationship, there will be a quarterly evaluation from your homeroom teacher. The "grade" (exceeds expectations, meets expectations or does not meet expectations) will impact a student's opportunity to park on campus, attend extracurricular activities, participate in clubs, etc. The homeroom process is a critical part of our Graduation Initiative." --excerpt from Ardrey Kell High School Student Handbook
